The Gutenberg COVID-19 study is a population study initiated by the Mainz University Medical Center with 10,000 participants from Rheinhessen. The study comprehensively examines the spread, risk factors and consequences of a SARS-CoV2 infection as well as the effects of the pandemic and the measures taken to combat it on public health.
The "Gutenberg COVID-19 study app" is used for regular surveys of study participants. To activate the app on your smartphone, you need your personal QR code that you received at the study center. The app is only functional after activation.
