Every time a game starts, a code is generated, which consists of a series of colours (or numbers if you prefer or are color blind) in a certain order. Your mission is to guess the code. To do this, every time you enter a combination, you will be provided with valuable information: A green point for each color that is correct and is in the correct position. Yellow, if the color is in the code but not in the correct position. Color blind users can choose to show this information with numbers.
Codebreaker is free and it is based on the Mastermind code breaker game, a classic board game from the 70's, that is also known as Bulls & cows, Numerello and Code Puzzle game.
Several modes and levels are provided for you to master the game. The entry mode is the "infinite mode", in which you can do as many attempts as you need. Increasing the level (more colors and digits in the code) will help you with the logic of the game. Once you master it you can change to "classic mode", in which you have restricted the number of attempts. Finally, the "challenge mode" provides some codes allowing you to focus more on finding the positions.
