We offer individual deaf visitors a new 90-minute self-study course entitled "Body Language" in the form of a video guide in French Sign Language (LSF).
It allows the discovery of 13 emblematic masterpieces from the permanent collections of the Fabre Museum from an unprecedented angle. From the seventeenth century, many artists will fervently apply to deploy the "secret speech" of their works. The most immediate way is gesture. The characters "speak" through their bodies, and the latter becomes responsible for the message conveyed to the viewer.
The entire content of this application is also proposed in the form of texts to encourage sharing and mixing among all audiences.
This new tool, available on digital tablets, is also available on simple ticketing request for the purchase of a ticket, a rental of € 3 and the filing of an identity document.
