Green Sharing: the new shared corporate mobility service is now active!
It is a service that provides electric cars and charging stations, as well as green parking areas within Hitachi Rail, dedicated to ecological vehicles and in correspondence with strategic areas of movement in urban areas.
Green Sharing is a real synergy between sustainable mobility and digital innovation: the project aims to offer a sustainable alternative for urban mobility and for work reasons, thus further supporting Hitachi Rail's commitment to contribute to improvement of the quality of life of the communities in which it operates. The service will be easily accessible through a digital platform accessible both via the web and through the dedicated app, perfectly in line with the digital transformation process that Hitachi Rail is experiencing.
Making use of the new service and Green Sharing will contribute to reducing CO2 emissions, improving air quality and improving the livability of the urban areas in which we live and work.
The service is launched in 2020 in pilot areas and will be extended to other cities in the future, with the aim of supporting the entire Hitachi Group in its commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN.
