ABILITA is a product designed to support patients, in particular those who suffer from highly complex care pathologies, their families and their caregivers. It is an integrated Web platform of Medical Record Management, support services for diagnosis, care and health and social assistance, accessible publicly at www.abilita.info
It was created in the perspective of user-centered design (Patient-centered design) and patient-centered medical care (Patient-centered care), using the latest paradigms in the field of ICT and eHealth product design.
ABILITA ensures the patient or his family members complete autonomy in uploading data and reports, in an intuitive and guided way, allowing the interested party to be an active part in collecting information related to assistance and care.
With ABILITA the patient or his caregiver can enable different subjects to treat, exchange, use his data and intervene with direct actions on his path, starting from the diagnosis up to the therapies and the monitoring of the same.
The purpose of this mobile application is to provide users already registered with direct access to the Emergency Card, specifically designed to provide useful information in critical situations. The patient and those who have been authorized by him can download it on his device, consult it and use it even without a connection.
ABILITA is the result of the ABILITA2 project (Development of an application for mobile terminals dedicated to highly complex assistance populations) co-financed by the Public Notice "LIFE 2020" - POR FESR LAZIO 2014-2020, with a total investment of € 853.488 and a contribution admitted € 560.430.
The project is coordinated by Informapro s.r.l. in partnership with Logica Informatica S.r.l. and with Mediamed Interactive S.r.l. It is developed in collaboration with the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital, Rieti Local Health Authority, Alzheimer United Rome ONLUS, National Association of Autistic Subjects Parents (ANGSA) Lazio Onlus, Italian Association for Home Artificial Nutrition "Un Filo per la Vita", Association Prader Willi Lazio, Italian chromosome deletion 22 Onlus association.
