By sharing the federal and international national principles, the Optimist Class has as its fundamental objective the promotion of sailing as a sport for young people aged 6 to 15 years

An important training path based on the teaching of:
- love for the sea and nature, to learn to respect the place where sport is lived and practiced
- marine spirit and fair sail, solidarity and respect for others
- spirit of common sacrifice, how to team up and live in a group
