EDBox is an app that adds AR technology to marine vocational education to increase the level of learning and increase students' interest in unfamiliar marine occupations.
Students can learn about marine-related occupations through the EDBox cube they created and can infer marine occupations through descriptions of characters and hashtags.
EDBox is used as an AR teaching material for the marine vocational education program conducted by Professor Park Kyung-min of Pusan National University.
⭐Create EDBox cubes
- Cut the provided EDBox development drawing along the line with scissors.
- Fold the solid line marked on the development of the eco box and glue the inside.
- Glue the pasted parts to make a cube shape.
- The cube-shaped ecobox cube is complete!

- Enter the serial number of the EDBox development view.
⭐Using Ecobox AR
# Pre-learning
- If you press the pre-learning button and put the cube on the camera screen, AR is created on each side of the cube.
- In the Ecobox Cube, there are a total of 6 marine-related contents, one per side.
- If you touch the marine-related content you are interested in, an explanation video about the industry is played.
- 6 job cards related to the industry are created on the tablet or smartphone screen.
- If you touch a marine-related job card, the card is turned over, and the description of the job is written on the back of the card.
- You can study the marine industry on the other side of the EDBox cube in the same way.
# main study
- Cut the learning materials with scissors and make them into cards.
- Press the main learning button, and recognize the QR code included in the learning card.
- A hint cube appears in AR when the 10 learning card is projected onto the camera.
- Click on the cube to reveal a hint about the marine profession.
- Record the answers to the hints on the mind map.
# Discuss (6 colors thinking hat)
- The 6-color thinking hat is a method of discussion, and discussion is performed while performing the role according to the color of the hat.
- Press the Discuss button, and the leader enters the member's name.
- Enter the names of all 6 members and press the button to see yourself wearing a hat.
- If you press Save, the 6-color Sago cap card is saved in your phone.
- Conduct a discussion according to the color of the hat and match the job.
