About Store Commerce
Store Commerce is the point-of-sale application for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce. It supports a wide range of capabilities beyond retail sale transactions that enable cashiers, managers and sales associates to manage store operations from a mobile device. In addition to flexible and performant sales transaction workflows, the Store Commerce app facilitates assisted selling and clienteling, order processing and fulfillment, inventory management, shift and cash management, role-based reporting, and more. The Store Commerce app connects to payment terminals, receipt printers, bar code scanners and cash drawers, and is highly customizable to meet the needs of a wide range of business requirements.
Prerequisites: Deploy a Commerce Scale Unit using the Dynamics Lifecycle Service portal before using the Store Commerce app. The app needs the CPOS URL to activate a register. Store workers and Devices need to be configured in Dynamics 365 Commerce back office.
