Azalys Autopartage is a short-term car rental service set up by the Blois Urban Community.
Car sharing makes it possible to use a car occasionally and for a short time, without the constraints of possession. With carsharing, there is no longer any need to worry about insurance, fuel, car maintenance. You will be able to benefit from a latest generation electric vehicle at a very advantageous price.
The car-sharing stations are located at:
- Cour-Cheverny
Parking along the RD 765 (access via rue Gilette)
- Veuzain-sur-Loire
Parking rue de l’Ecrevissière extended (Onzain)
They each offer two electric vehicles for hire (automatic gearbox).
How does this Azalys service work?
Step 1: registration
• Create your user account on the azalys.agglopolys.fr website or via this mobile application.
• Provide the following supporting documents: valid driver's license and proof of address less than 3 months old.
• Fill in your bank details.
Your credit card will be systematically verified by the 3D Secure protocol in accordance with the European directive. The system is secure, all personal data is encrypted.
• Your account will be validated within 48 hours.
Step 2: booking your vehicle
• Reserve your vehicle at the station of your choice for a minimum of 30 minutes and for a maximum of 20 hours in a row, Monday to Sunday from 4:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.
• The amount of the deposit (€100) will be blocked on your account for a maximum period of 7 days.
• You can opt for excess insurance (SereniTrip)
Step 3: loan of the vehicle
• One hour before the start of the reservation, you will receive by email and/or SMS a reminder of your reservation as well as a multi-digit code which will be used to unlock the box containing the vehicle key and the activation badge of the terminal, as well as a technical assistance number that can be reached 24/24 and 7/7.
• You will find in each station, in the vehicles, in the Town Hall and on azalys.agglopolys.fr (have a link) information to guide you.
Step 4: return of the vehicle
• As each vehicle has a reserved place, you will find your starting place free.
• The cost of the service will be charged 24 hours after the return of the vehicle.
