APSID is a Kenyan agricultural consulting company registered in 2018. The company offers a wide range of sector support services including provision of autonomic and other technical and business advice to sector players, training agency and promotional services to confirming products and services. The APSID field agency program aims to connect farmers to opportunities, products, markets and services as well as creating employment to young people living on rural areas who get a chance thought the program to work with farmers in their own communities/areas of residence.
The program helps create the linkages between remote farming communities and other sector players through the field agents. The are typically unemployed young people with good communication and marketing skills to promote programs run by APSID and other partners or clients that aim at improving their farming.
