Digital Rupee by UBI-Merchant

The Digital Rupee UBI-Merchant Application, developed by Union Bank of India, is a dedicated mobile platform for merchants onboarded on the Digital Rupee (CBDC) ecosystem. Designed to align with the Reserve Bank of India’s vision for digital currency, the app enables merchants to receive payments through QR codes in a seamless and secure manner. Customers can simply scan the merchant’s QR to transfer Digital Rupee directly into the merchant’s wallet, making transactions instant, efficient, and free from intermediaries.
