The guñaamolo language is related to the group of four dialectal variants baynunk; guñaamolo, gúbááhár, gújahár, kobiana. It is spoken in Senegal in the department of Bignona in Casamance, especially in the village of Niamone, but also in the villages of Kanjumbé, Diengue, Guérina, Colomba, Kassankil and Tobor. It is also spoken in the village of Bourofaye Bainouk south of Ziguinchor. The Baynunk diaspora has also brought this dialect to many cities in Senegal. Guenaamolo is also spoken in The Gambia.
