The Guñaamolo language belongs to the group of four baynunk dialect variants; guñaamolo, gúbááhár, gújahár, kobiana. It is spoken in Senegal in the department of Bignona in Casamance, especially in the village of Niamone, but also in the villages of Kanjumbé, Diengue, Guérina, Colomba, Kassankil and Tobor. It is also spoken in the village of Bourofaye Bainouk south of Ziguinchor. The Baynunk diaspora also brought this dialect to many towns in Senegal. Guñaamolo is also spoken in The Gambia.
