Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort is a French Catholic priest (1673 - 1716). He is the founder of two religious congregations: the Company of Mary from which will be born the Brothers of St. Gabriel and a female congregation: the Daughters of Wisdom. Beatified in the nineteenth century, he was canonized in the twentieth century.
