Hadith e Kisa is in regard to the virtue of the Prophet (pbuh) Imam Ali (as) The holy lady Fatimah (s.a) Imam Hassan (as) and Imam Husayn (as). The event occurs at the house of Umme Salma, the wife of the Prophet (pbuh). The Holy Prophet (pbuh) at the time where the Quranic verse of ‘Tathir’ was revealed had covered himself and his family with a Yemeni cloak (Kisa). The Shia believers use this narration to prove their infallibility, excellence & right for caliphate and right over the Muslims. The narration has come in many books such as “Mafatih Al-Jinan’ which was written by Sheikh Abbas Qummi (r.a) and the narration can be found by it's famous title Hadīth e Kisa. It has also been narrated in many older sources of Sunni and Shia literature.
