The route marked out by the Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society "Mazowsze" Branch is dedicated primarily to hiking and biking, it runs through the areas of Mława, the communes of Iłowo-Osada, Lipowiec Kościelny, Szydłowo and Wieczfnia Kościelna and the Forest District Dwukoły, created on the basis of the already existing trail fights in September 1939, designated by PTTK in 1979.
The most important elements of the trail are the original fortifications located along its route - including combat bunkers and tranches - from the Second World War. Tourists will also find many other attractions there, including architectural monuments (e.g. the Church of the Holy Trinity, the town hall, the building of the museum and public library in Mława), places of remembrance (e.g. the Mound of the January Insurgents in Mława, the German cemetery in Mławka, the monument to the infantryman in Uniszki Zawadzkie), recreational facilities (e.g. the Ruda reservoir) and nature refuges (e.g. the Dębowa Góra reserve in Dwukoły, the Żubra farm in Mława).
On the trail, you can get a digital PTTK badge "Mławski Szlak Turystyczny". The badge has three levels.
