The application "GDPR assess breach" is a free tool based on ENISA recommendations that helps the User in assessing a data breach (GDPR incident). Based on simple questions and ready-made answers selected from a list, our application calculates estimated threats related to the incident. The result of the analysis is to help the User decide whether the GDPR requires taking further steps, i.e. reporting the incident to the competent authority and / or notifying persons whose rights have been violated.
We do not collect and store data entered into the application.
The application plays an auxiliary and educational role. The methodology adopted to create the application takes into account the recommendations contained in the publication "European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA), 2013, Recommendations for a methodology of the assessment of severity of personal data breaches". Each breach or suspected breach of personal data protection should be analyzed individually, in particular with regard to the performance of the obligations set out in Art. 33 and 34 GDPR.
