The Fundación Escuela Taller de Caldas and the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape “FETC-PCCC” is part of the National Program “Schools Workshop of Colombia Tools of Peace” created on July 29, 2010, led by the Ministry of Culture; It is the only workshop school in the territory of the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape PCCC, declared by UNESCO as Intangible Heritage of Humanity, our main headquarters is located in the municipality of Salamina, Caldas, an architectural and cultural jewel of the colonization, a municipality that is considered to be the cradle of the PCCC.
The Fundación Escuela Taller de Caldas and the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape "FETC-PCCC" - "Peace Tools" allows citizens of the territory of the PCCC in vulnerable conditions, people with limited economic resources, young people affected by the armed conflict, people in of disability, demobilized, reincorporated, reinserted, victims of violence, ethnic communities, mothers head of families, the recovery of materials, construction techniques and traditional knowledge are trained in arts and crafts for the management, safeguarding and protection of Cultural Heritage, generating entrepreneurship opportunities, sustainable development and the reconstruction of the social fabric within the Department of Caldas and the Colombian Coffee Cultural Landscape.
