The proposed training manual on the history of Russia is a brief systematic exposition of the most striking and important pages of Russian history, which covers the period from ancient times to the February Revolution of 1917, ie, to the fall of the monarchy in Russia.
It was created based on the basic international studies program Russian as an additional material and adapted to the existing textbooks.
Addressed to foreign students of philological faculties, experiencing some difficulties in the assimilation of a large volume of historical information.

Also, manual can be used in the classroom preparatory departments, in groups of short forms of training and individual sessions with students interested in Russian history, but still deep enough speak Russian.
The purpose of this publication - to acquaint students with the main stages of historical development of Russia, to give an overview of the major milestones in the formation and development of Russian statehood, the basic laws of the historical process in the country and its peculiarities.
The objectives of the grant is to generate listeners initial skills of historical and linguistic competence, the necessary minimum of historical knowledge and the appropriate vocabulary, as well as prepare them for the development of concepts and a starting material for further study of the course "History of Russia".
The proposed training manual is designed for both classroom and for homework. It allows you to gain knowledge about the main historical events, learn new concepts, terms and phrases. The selection of the material allows you to build the teaching according to the level of knowledge of the Russian language. The book consists of selected topics (lessons) in a concise and accessible form sets out the main events in the history of the country.
Before each topic to better assimilation of the material students are encouraged to become familiar with the new words in the text. The process of assimilation and activation of new vocabulary is built in a sequence of simple sentences and texts to a variety of tasks and texts on broader lexical and grammatical base.
Control questions and simple tasks that are sure to follow after the main text, are intended to help students better understand the topic, to learn a new vocabulary, a new language constructs and historical material.
