The token tax consists of two parts. In the library there are films with children drawing and in a game you get to use what you have learned by pairing a sign with the right picture. Switch between the library and the game using the two buttons at the top center of the game board.
The app contains cartoon words for things (nouns), colors and numbers. Teckenskatten Gratis has a selection of words from the Teckenskatten app which contains many more words in categories such as animals, furniture, toys and other things close at hand for children.
In the library, you can explore sign language by choosing between three words. There are three cards with drawn pictures representing the words in a certain category. A movie is played with a child drawing. The word is said out loud as an aid to hearing.
As a help for adults, there are drawn signs. It can be a support if it is difficult to see how the child draws on the film.
The game involves pairing a movie with a character with one of three pictures. You will hear the word when you guessed correctly and you can watch the movie as many times as you want.
