Min Sorg was created to help parents who have lost their child(ren) deal with their grief.
Min Sorg provides information about common reactions, grief and complicated grief, about contact details for crisis support and support organizations in society, a "grief meter" where you can track your grief over time, and various exercises that can help you manage your grief. The exercises range from relaxation exercises and mindfulness to writing exercises about the loss and self-help strategies. The user can integrate their own contacts, photos and audio files into the app. My Grief is not a treatment but a self-help tool, and can be used independently or as a complement to therapeutic treatment.
Min Sorg has been evaluated in a research project together with 250 parents who lost a child. More information about the app and the research results can be found at www.minsorg.com
Min Sorg was created by researchers at Uppsala University and is in Swedish.
