Those who do not justify their absence before the National Electoral Court within 60 days after the elections, will be subject to a fine ranging between $50 and $500. The amount will depend on the number of previous violations that the voter has accumulated.
If the offender does not comply with the payment, the National Electoral Code establishes that he will not be able to perform public functions or jobs for a period of 3 years. In addition, you will be prevented from carrying out procedures or procedures for 1 year before state agencies.
