Oi's new app and totems enable comprehensive searches, ranging from the number and names of stores (or boxes), utilities and even names of products and services offered by retailers ... all by text or voice, without typing! Simply speak naturally what you are looking for: "I'm looking for Lingerie", "Where is the 24-hour bank?", "Box 42", "Where is the Subway", "Who does mobile phone support?", "Shoes", etc. ., and receive a list of results in order of proximity.
To guide the customer to the desired destination, the new Oi application uses digital flags distributed throughout the complex, which work as an Indoor GPS. They allow the app to accurately identify the customer's position and provide "3D paths," meaning that they can span multiple multi-story maps, starting on one floor and proceeding along transitions such as stairs, escalators, and elevators to the floor of destination.
For customers who are not yet in the habit of using their cell phones during the visits, totems have been installed at strategic points in the parking lots and main floors, sharing the same maps and contents of the app. Both recognize the new physical signage of Shopping Oi, which has received dozens of signs that identify all of its streets (store runners) with intuitive sequences of letters and numbers. With this, the app and totems guide customers based on visual references easy to understand, narrating paths in the standard of applications like Waze and Google Maps: "Go for 20 meters and turn right on D street, then turn left on street 3, then reach your destination.
