About vEyes Color Detector

Made in the first version, as a degree thesis in the context of vEyes, by Marco Gallo, later extended by the staff of vEyes (virtual Eyes) - ONLUS, the app allows a blind person to have vocalized the color of the objects framed in the central frame of the screen, or to indicate the brightness of the environment in which it is located.

This application is extrapolated from the vEyes Wear wearable platform, in order to test its potential and use it, pending the definitive release of glasses and belt. The screen is divided into two halves, so that the two functions can be used easily. A touch on the right side allows the detection of the color of the object framed, while a touch on the left side, the detection of the ambient brightness. Alternatively, it is possible to use the application exclusively through voice commands, whose support can be activated by scrolling the phone (listen to the instructions to know the list of commands). Remember that you need to wait for the beep before giving any voice command.
