The 17th annual Gangs Across the Carolinas Symposium is for sworn law enforcement or criminal justice professionals. The schedule will include a Gangs 101 class for those who arrive the night before. At the start of the symposium the topics will be a North Carolina Gang Forum with the NCGIA Region Coordinators and GangNet, Gangs and Officer Safety, Threats Posed by Military Trained Gang Members, a Valentine Bloods case review, Black Hebrew Israelites, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Investigative Techniques of an Undercover Gang Infiltration, and the 9th Annual NCGIA Awards Banquet. Networking opportunities available throughout the conference and in the evenings.
