About Daily Readings
The free Daily Readings app features a modernised version of CH Spurgeon's Morning & Evening, Daily reading from J C Ryle and Spurgeon's Checkbook of Faith. It includes a full ESV Bible text, and hymn for each day with playable accompaniment perfect for singing along to.
Each day features a separation devotion for morning and evening and includes:
- The Bible verse selected by CH Spurgeon
- A short additional Bible reading chosen to complement Spurgeon’s comments
- A hymn to read or sing, along with the accompanying music
- The meditation from CH Spurgeon which has been lightly modernized
- A “for thought and prayer” section at the end of each reading
There are also sections describing how to use the App, the various copyright and license agreements, a privacy statement, a feedback section, and access to the complete ESV.
The App is free of charge, and we hope you will use it and share it!
