Do you want someone who can listen and understand you?
Would you like to make a connection with someone who shares your lived experience?
And do you want to get access to mental wellbeing support?
The VOH app:
• Connects you with Active Listeners who are here to listen and provide support
• Helps you self-manage your mental health
• Gives you access to one-on-one online peer support
• Private, confidential and safe space
• Accessible wherever and whenever you like
• An environment that is free from judgement or stigma
• Complementary to any existing on-going support
• FREE!
We provide a safe place where you can share with your peers, talk one-on-one with someone that understand you and can help you develop strategies to self-manage your own mental wellbeing.
Voice of Health’s free app allows you to talk with trained Active Listeners, who can empathise, listen and relate to your lived experience. Browse through our community of Active Listeners, review their profile and select the person that you believe can best empathise and support you.
Communicate via in-app messaging in a space where your privacy and security are always top of mind in everything we do. We also give you the option to chat anonymously if you’d prefer.
We know that sometimes you may need additional support. We have recently launched a new section inside our app where we have partnered with trusted organisations to help you to continue your mental well-being journey.
We will also be bringing voice calling to our platform very soon, so keep an eye out for that update!
So who are your Active Listeners?
Active Listeners are your peers who have personal lived experience and can empathise with the challenges you face. They are here to provide personalised, empathetic and goal-orientated support when you need it.
All Active Listeners are required to successfully complete our Active Listener Training Course and personally meet with the Voice of Health (VOH) team before they provide you with support.
We are always looking for new Active Listeners to join our community. If you would like to give back and provide support to others then we would love you to join us. To become an Active Listener head to our website www.voiceofhealth.com.au to begin the process.
*Please note that we are not a crisis service and that if you or anyone you or anyone you know is currently in a crisis or immediate danger to please call emergency services or a crisis hotline in your area.
