*Class Teams is a tool that helps you generate and keep track of strategic groups/teams. It is especially helpful for teachers who regularly change teams/groups, use team roles, and/or try to approach creating class teams strategically.
*Getting Going
You enter your students into a class, rank them (top to bottom - high to low) according to your own criteria, and then can quickly generate homogeneous (similar ability), heterogeneous (mixed ability), or random ability teams. Swap students around if desired and then save teams for future tracking/reference purposes.
*Tracking
If team tracking is enabled, a red highlight will indicate two people were just on a team together and a yellow highlight will indicate two people were on a team together two teams ago. If role tracking is enabled, a colored square will appear next to each name showing what that person's role(color) was the last team they were on.
*Moving People Between and Within Teams
Swap students quickly by pressing on two names consecutively. Moving students between teams allows teacher customization so students do not repeat team members, do not repeat team roles, or just so students form a more functional team based on needs. Students can also be moved to blank areas to create new teams, or different sized teams than what was generated.
