Horse Council BC (HCBC) and Equestrian Nova Scotia (Equestrian NS) are excited to offer our new recreational program Horseplay! This program replaces our former Ride and Drive program allowing participants to record their horse activity hours and be entered into draws to win prizes.
By revamping and rebranding the Ride and Drive program, we have created a program that includes all equestrians regardless of how you participate. And forget about paying an extra fee on top of your membership; we are offering this program for FREE!
We are excited to have an app allowing members to participate in the program and connect with friends. There is also an accompanying webpage version of the app to see your stats in greater detail for those who do not have access to a mobile device. We encourage anyone 13 and over from the horse community to sign up and use the app. To participate in prize draws, you must be a current HCBC or Equestrian NS member and be a legal resident of that province.

HCBC and Equestrian NS will draw prizes for the Horseplay program on an ongoing basis. Please check their websites for the prize draw schedule and details. For every 10 minutes of recorded activity, you will earn 10 points. You can only enter activities within the last two days, so it is best to record daily so you don’t miss the opportunity. When entering an activity, you can earn an additional 5 points by answering questions. You can also earn 20 points by inviting friends to connect with you in the app!
