TRASH— STAY AWAY - Such potential - SYNCING DOES NOT WORK
I wanted so badly to like this app, but I just can’t. I paid the one-time fee for premium, hoping this would finally be the perfect solution for a serious book collector like me. Here’s my use case: when I’m out hunting for books, I need to know exactly what I already own, how much I paid, where I bought it, and I want to see photos of my copies to compare with what’s in front of me. On paper, this app sounded perfect—it has both Mac and iPhone versions, a supposedly linked database, and highly customizable fields for formats, conditions, categories, and stories. Entering data on my iMac is so much easier than on a phone, and the promise of accessing that synced library in the field was amazing. The problem? The syncing flat-out does not work. I’ve followed their troubleshooting steps, and twice my entire database of 400 books was erased. Twice. I had to rebuild everything manually. Yes, you can export to Excel (thankfully including pictures), but there’s no batch import—so rebuilding the whole thing is a nightmare. And even when it doesn’t completely wipe my library, the sync is unreliable. At first everything looked fine: 400 books on the iPhone, 400 on the Mac. Four days later, I opened the iPhone app—only two books showed up. No filters were on. And if you try their resync “fix,” it erases the iCloud data entirely. Just like that—poof—your whole database is gone. This app wasted my $9.99 and, worse, cost me dozens of hours of work. For collectors who depend on accurate, reliable access to their catalog, this is a disaster. Verdict: Trash. Stay away.

Important feature left out
I cannot find the ability to add a book by ISBN. Am I missing it? It is so much faster to search and add by matching ISBN's.
