The Bribri language is spoken in two regions of Costa Rica: on the Atlantic slope of the Talamanca mountain range, Talamanca canton, in the Limón province (indigenous territories of Talamanca Bribri and Kéköldi), and on the peaceful slope of the Talamanca mountain range. Talamanca, canton of Buenos Aires, in the province of Puntarenas (indigenous territories of Salitre and Cabagra). It is also spoken in Panama, in the district of Guabito, on the border with Costa Rica. This application has been created with the idea of working as a didactic resource for the people of the Bribris communities. Each letter of the Bribri language alphabet is exemplified with one or more words presented in writing and in audio, this in order to learn to associate the writing of the words with how they are pronounced in this language. The application was developed following linguistic, didactic and graphic design criteria.
