Bahá'u'lláh lays on every Bahá'í sacred duty to spread the Faith. We have no clergy, and because it is assumed that serve their religion, as the religion of the priests once were, must each Bahá'í. The cornerstone of all activities is to spread Baha'i teachings. As clearly declared in his will and the will of 'Abdu'l-Bahá, "instructed the nations and peoples of the world" is "the most important of all things" and "the greatest of all the gifts of God is the gift of teaching."
Friends, of course, we know that in the Scriptures of our Faith constantly affirms - signs of even more help from above are obvious, the more active work on the spread of the Faith. According to the beloved Master, "the invisible divine help to those who bear the news." Overall friends aware of the vital importance of the spread of the Faith, and yet many people, because of their uncertainty, lack of determination, and they do not know how to act and how to succeed in their work. Because the Scriptures are teachings of the Faith on all these fundamental questions, we turned to the Research Department to prepare a compilation of texts on this subject ...
The study of this collection will undoubtedly be useful for friends, for enabling them to get acquainted with the basic instructions that they should be guided in their work by the spread of the Faith. Since the main purpose of the creation of Local Spiritual Assemblies is the spread of the Faith, it is clear that each of the National Spiritual Assembly should carefully consider all ways and means to help motivate each within its jurisdiction the local congregation to fulfill this primary obligation ...
When the friends realize that the Kingdom forces are ready to rush to their aid when they see that many of their associates, embarking on this path, succeed when they realize that everyone is able to find one or another effective way to spread the Faith in accordance with its individual abilities and talents, they are, without a doubt, with more confidence will make the first step, and we are convinced that, by making it, they will receive support and guidance from above, because the very desire and attempts to respond to the call of the Lord will bring divine blessings, to whom there is no number.
