In this practice, you will study roundworms, more specifically the worms known as roundworms (Ascaris lumbricoides). These worms are cylindrical, non-segmented and cause ascariasis. In this experiment, you will use a microscope and a kit of prepared slides. In the test, you will observe the morphology of fertile and infertile Ascaris lumbricoides eggs, as well as the differences between male and female specimens of this worm.
