Take the sextant and shoot the Sun or the North Star. Practice with it using the old methods of astronomical navigation, and let this app do the calculations for you!
HELP
1 - Tap on Date, Time, DR, Hs and sight parameters to enter the data.
2 - Choose the calculation in the combobox.
3 - Push [Calculate] and the solution is written.
[+]: resets the form for new data.
[Examples]
- Loads the data of the chosen example.
- See About.
[Location]
Sets the position for training purposes.
- Three methods: using Google Maps, GNSS fix, by input dialog box.
- Location App permission must be allowed.
- Switch on your GPS, and then automatic location detection is possible.
- My Location button is available on Google Maps. Your last position is automatically saved
- Storage App permission must be allowed
