The Particle Universe is an augmented reality application that takes you on a short and educational walk. Discover at 10 different stations how particle physics helps to understand our universe.
Each station is different and shows you a phenomenon or technology that has to do with particle physics.
For example, discover what a banana has to do with antimatter or why galaxies don't fly apart.
And if you want to get creative yourself, you can also get involved yourself and create your own walk for your friends, which will also take them into the fascinating world of the particle universe.
This project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF) as part of the 2023 Science Year "Our Universe".
It is a joint project of the ErUM-FSPs at the Large Hadron Collider. If you want to find out more about us, visit our website at www.lhc-deutschland.de.
