Discover the fascinating history of Zug's industrial culture with our newly developed hiking app "Industry Trail Lorze". Follow in the footsteps that large companies such as Landis & Gyr have left in the region and learn in an interactive way how global corporations developed from the first factories.
The app offers two different modes:
1. Mode A: A complete tour of all 12 industry points, enriched with exciting mini-games and quizzes. The duration of this tour is approximately 2.5 hours.
2. Mode B: Choose for yourself which points you want to visit. A duration of 1.5 hours is recommended for schools.
With augmented reality (AR) you can conjure up a ball out of the ground at every industrial point, which reveals interesting information and facts about the respective location when tapped. The 12 industry points include the Metalli, the Zug waterworks, the Reformed Church and of course the famous Landis & Gyr locations.
With the built-in photo button you can capture your journey of discovery and share your experiences with your community. The app is the perfect tool for anyone who wants to learn more about Zug's industrial history.
Start your journey at Industriepunkt 1, on the large square in front of the train station. Be inspired by the past and discover Zug's industrial heritage like never before with the "Industry Path Lorze" hiking app.
The entire content of the 'Industriepfad Lorze' app, including maintenance and updates, is the responsibility of SQWISS GmbH, Gotthardstrasse 46, 6472 Erstfeld.
