Orthodox church Protection of the Mother of God in Hańczowa.
The Orthodox Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in Hańczowa is one of the most impressive objects of wooden sacred architecture in this part of the Carpathians. It is situated in the Ropa river valley, between Uście Gorlickie and Wysowa. The temple served Greek Catholics for about 250 years. Since 1958, it has been the parish church of the Orthodox parish again. The interior and furnishings of the church come mainly from the 18th and 19th centuries. The paintings on the walls and ceilings as well as the original iconostasis are of particular interest here.
