All the recitations and dhikrs we do are the main appeals to Allah. So Dua is the root of all worship. Rasool said

إِنَّ الدُّعَاءَ هُوَ الْعِبَادَةُ
Meaning: Surely du'i is worship [Musnad Ahmad : 18386 Sahih].
Allah Ta'ala has also commanded us to make dua to Him in various places in the Qur'an. He taught him the rules and principles of what language to pray, how to pray. He also said that turning away from dua is the reason for going to hell. Allah says:

{وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ} [غافر: 60]
Meaning: Your Lord says, Call upon Me, I will answer. Those who are proud of my worship will soon be humiliated in hell. [Surah Ghafir: 60]
In another verse Allah says:

{ادْعُوا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَخُفْيَةً إِنَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِينَ} [الأعراف: 55]
Meaning: Call upon your Lord, beseech and beseech. He does not like transgressors. [Surah A'raf: 55]
Therefore, Du'a is an integral part of a believer's life. Without which the believer's life of faith is not complete. Allah Ta'ala himself and his beloved Messenger. He has taught us numerous duas and asked us to recite them all. In addition to this, there are many duas narrated from the elders of God.
We can make all these dua's and we can also make dua's in our own language on any valid matter. However, there is no doubt that among all these duas, the best and best dua in terms of quality and appeal is the dua of the Quran. The one who asked us to make dua, to whom we pray, if the dua is taught by him, in his language, in the words he says - what can be a better dua than this?
