The Capalbio summer exhibition opens at the end of July. The works of contemporary artists will be exhibited not only in the spaces of the Il Frantoio Gallery, but will also be reproduced in augmented reality inside the crenellated walls of the medieval village of Capalbio. A treasure hunt for "virtual" works, to bring everyone closer to contemporary art through your smartphone.
The exhibition, curated by Maria Concetta Monaci, with the patronage of the Municipality of Capalbio and the newly formed Capalbio Foundation, provides different formulas for approaching works of art. In addition to the possibility of enjoying them in original at the Gallery, some works will become the subject of a path to be done on foot within the walls of the Maremma town known for its active social and cultural life.
Thanks to the technology of AmbiensVR, partner of the project, the exhibition develops like a treasure hunt, an "art hunting", where the fruition of works of art takes place through augmented reality, a virtual experience, not entrusted to the 5 senses but to the smartphone camera.
Advancing inside the ancient village of Capalbio, the discovery of the works will be automated by a walk of about half an hour also identified thanks to a map distributed in several places. What will be revealed will be a reality in which everyone can interact, making photos and videos and sharing their experience on social media through the hashtag #augmentedliberty and #estatecapalbio.
At the Cultural Association il Frantoio in piazza della Provvidenza 10, an info point will always be open to provide all information and insights. Info 3290943246.
The AUGMENTED LIBERTY exhibition was created thanks to the contribution of iFund, LVenture, Innova Group, OSA Cooperative, Windenergy and BMC.
