Royal Decree 1659/1998 of 24 July, which develops Article 8, paragraph 5, of the Law of the Workers' Statute on worker information on the essential elements of the employment contract.
Article 8, paragraph 5, of the Law of the Workers' Statute, revised text approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1995 of 24 March, it states that when the employment relationship is of longer than four weeks duration the employer must inform a worker in writing about the essential elements of the contract and the main conditions for implementing the work performed, provided that such elements and conditions not included in the employment contract formalized in writing.
