About La tribulación de la Iglesia

🛐It is important to know if the church will go through the great tribulation because the idea that the church will be taken at the beginning of the great tribulation is a popular idea. It induces a false sense of security among believers, and when problems and persecution come, which will happen eventually, many people will fall because they have no roots (Mt. 13: 20-21).

🙏 (Mt. 13:21) But it has no root in itself, but it is short-lived, for when affliction (thlipsis) or persecution (diogmos) comes because of the word, then stumbles.
Jesus warns us that before He returns many will turn away from faith.

(Mt. 24: 9-13) Then they will deliver you up to tribulation, and they will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for my name's sake. {10} Many will stumble then, and give each other up, and they will hate each other. {11} And many false prophets will rise and deceive many; {12} and because evil has multiplied, the love of many will cool down. {13} But he who endures to the end will be saved.
Shortly before his death Jesus warns his disciples about the coming persecution.

(Jn. 16: 1-4) These things I have spoken to you, so that you do not stumble. {2} You will be expelled from the synagogues; and the time is still coming when anyone who kills you will think that he is serving God. {3} And they will do this because they do not know the Father or me. {4} But I have told you these things, so that when the time comes, you remember that I had already told you.
Of course it is true that the church has always gone through persecution from the time of the early church onwards (Acts 8: 1) and to this day.

Sometimes it is taught that the church will not go through the great tribulation. The great tribulation comes from Rev. 7:14 (megas thlipsis) and we should note that a great multitude that no one could count, of all nations and tribes and peoples and languages, had come out of the great tribulation. This great crowd are clearly Christians, because they had washed their clothes and had them whitened in the blood of the Lamb. This same expression (megas thlipsis) is also used in Mt. 24:21, where we should note that the elect are also mentioned (Mt. 24:22).

(Rev 7:14) I said: Lord, you know it. And he said to me: These are those who have come out of the great tribulation (thlipsis: G2347), and have washed their clothes, and have made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

The theme of the rapture (often called 'the rapture') is one of the most controversial issues in today's churches (especially evangelicals) regarding biblical prophecies. The rapture refers to when Jesus will come to rescue believers before God punishes the unbelieving world. What is discussed more than anything is WHEN this is going to happen, and more specifically, if it is going to happen before or after a period called the "Great Tribulation" (a time when there will be natural disasters, spiritual deceptions, and the system of The world will persecute believers and force everyone to receive a brand without which they cannot buy or sell.)
