Bana Village is one of the 11 (eleven) villages and sub-districts in Bontocani District which is located + 12 km from the District capital and + 132 km from the capital of Bone District. The Bana Village area can be reached by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles.
The area of Bana Village is about 6919 km2. The boundaries of the Bana Village area are as follows:
- In the west it is bordered by Bulusirua Village
- To the east, it is bordered by Kab. Sinjai
- In the north, it is bordered by Kel. Kahu and Pammusureng Village
- To the south, it is bordered by Sinjai Regency
Bana Village has a tropical climate with two seasons, namely the rainy season and the dry season. This is the main factor that makes Bana Village a very potential area in the agricultural sector.
Administratively, the Bana Village area consists of 6 (six) hamlets and 17 RT. In general, the use of the Bana Village area is mostly for agricultural land in the form of rice fields and plantations, community housing locations, government facilities and infrastructure, education, religion and cemeteries.
