The Turkish Penal Code is the penal code numbered 5237, which was adopted on September 26, 2004 and entered into force on June 1, 2005. The rules regarding the execution of punishment and security measures do not make any discrimination in terms of race, language, religion, sect, nationality, color, gender, birth, philosophical belief, national or social origin, political or other ideas or thoughts, economic power and other social positions of the convicts. applied without any privilege. Cruel, inhuman, humiliating and dishonorable acts cannot be committed in the execution of penalties and security measures.
