The Torres de Quart were the entrance that received visitors arriving from the Kingdom of Castile. They were part of the Christian wall of the city and its construction was carried out between 1441 and 1460 on a previous door, following the model of the Castel Nuovo door in Naples, built by Alfonso the Magnanimous. The signs of the intense bombardment suffered during the French siege of the city in 1808 are still preserved on the exterior plaster.
