AnconaAssistenza is the app developed for the Municipality of Ancona thanks to the contribution of the Ancona Conero Rotary Club and the Associazione CuoreVivo Onlus of Ancona.
The app intended for the Municipality of Ancona is part of a platform aimed at the realization of a project having mainly socio-welfare value which, if desired and deemed appropriate, may also assume the character of monitoring health aspects, screening and prevention.
The goal is to counteract the loneliness of the elderly and reduce isolation, keeping the elderly as independent as possible within their family environment and in their housing and relational context by building a social network between them. voluntary work, the private sector and public institutions, with reference also to the promotion of the state of health.
Fragile subjects enrolled and followed by the Municipality's social-welfare services, can also be equipped with easy-to-use medical instruments that allow them to independently measure their own vital parameters.
The followed subjects equipped with smartphones or tablets on which the AnconaAssistenza app is installed can connect with the operators of the "Listening Center" to:
- make video calls to the control panel for any type of event
- receive video calls from the control panel (scheduled or extemporaneous)
- send / receive messages exchanged with the control panel (text, images, photos, files)
- receive and respond to the "questionnaires" provided by the Central
The app has extremely simple and intuitive features to allow easy use even for those who are not particularly accustomed (by age, background, etc.) to modern technologies.
In relation to the telemonitoring functions, the app provides:
- possibility of making measurements through medical devices that are easy to use and equipped with a Bluetooth connection that communicate directly with the application which in turn automatically transmits the data acquired to the control unit
- possibility to manually enter the results of detections performed with medical devices not connected to the app
- visualization of the history of measurements made over time directly from the app (in table or graphic format)
