Selection of Military Officer Candidates is a selection process to select the best candidates who will become military officers for the Army, Navy and Air Force. This selection involves a series of rigorous tests and stages, and aims to ensure that prospective officers have the abilities and qualities needed to become effective and responsible military leaders.
The following are the selection stages for Military Officer Candidates:
Registration: Candidates register online and fill out the registration form completely.
Administrative Selection: Administrative selection is carried out to check the completeness of documents and registration requirements.
Academic Potential Test (TPA): The TPA test covers the verbal, numerical and logical abilities of prospective officers.
Health Tests: Health tests include physical and mental examinations, including urine and blood tests.
Physical Ability Test (TNI): The TNI physical fitness test aims to evaluate the physical readiness of prospective officers.
Interview Test: Candidates will be interviewed by a selection team to assess interpersonal skills and personality.
Psychological Tests: Psychological tests include personality tests and interest and aptitude tests.
Academic Ability Test: This test covers the fields of science and technology, as well as social studies and humanities.
English Language Test: An English language test is conducted to assess the English language skills of prospective officers.
Leadership Test: Leadership tests are carried out to assess prospective officers' ability to lead and make decisions.
After going through all the selection stages, prospective officers who pass will attend education at the Military Academy in Magelang, Central Java. Education at the Military Academy includes military training, academic training, and leadership training which will prepare prospective officers to carry out duties and responsibilities as leaders in the Military. After graduating from the Military Academy, prospective officers are appointed as Second Lieutenants and are expected to make significant contributions to the country and society.
