Discovery tour of the Dreiländereck – Circuit de découverte du triangle frontalier
With the Dreiländereck discovery tour you will experience interesting sights, wonderful views over the Moselle valley and taste the gastronomy of the wine region. Three hiking routes cross borders to France, Luxembourg and Germany. The starting point is always the Centrée Européen in Schengen and thus the historic site of the well-known Schengen Agreement. Observe rare bird species in Luxembourg, taste French cuisine and enjoy exciting views from the German banks of the Moselle.

Discovery tours II: Roman villa Borg - precision mechanical Fellenberg mill - industrial culture on the Saar loop
With the discovery tours we go in search of relics from the history of the region. We make a journey through time into the world of the Romans, meet the slave Jatros, who takes us into the life of his master in the Roman Villa Borg, can observe the work of the archaeologists on the site of the reconstructed villa and get to know a "living alarm system".
We discover traces of industrial history along the Saar on the way from Merzig to Mettlach to the beginnings of the terracotta factory Villeroy & Boch, meet wolves and a globetrotter who brought them to Saarland, get to know the island of love and experience together with the former apprentice of the Mühle Fellenberg, how precision mechanical machines were driven by the power of water. We guide you through the museums in an exciting way, where pictures, short texts, videos and stories from contemporary witnesses present the most exciting exhibits to the visitor. With this tour we also combine insights into the diversity of our landscape, sights, nature, leisure facilities, gastronomy and culture.
