Enigma chess consists of representing a chess position that is taking place in an unfinished game by placing a question mark in the place where there are pieces in such a way that it is necessary to deduce which piece is in each square. The solution must be unique.
As the game is active, there is no place to represent either checkmate or tables, since the game would have ended and must be in play. Neither can forced tables be represented. By this I mean that if the side that has to move must necessarily capture a piece that determines a draw, the position cannot be represented.
No piece can be on its original square unless it is essential for the solution to be unique.
It's that simple, you see that understanding what Enigma chess is has no mystery. What it does have is solving the positions in such a way that the solution is unique.
Sometimes, apart from all the questions, you will be asked to put the missing piece/s. More fun!
