Cardinal Rivne Futsal Club - Founded in 2000 as a Cardinal mini-football club. In the same year, the team started competing in the city championship of Lviv. In the first season, the team immediately won bronze medals. Next, the Cardinals finished in second place, and in 2002, they declared themselves in the Ukrainian Championship in the second zone of the Western Zone. And in the first season they won bronze awards In the 2003-2004 season, the Cardinals won silver medals. The following season, the Cardinal won the bronze medal for the second time and was eligible for promotion in the class.
After several seasons, club president Vladimir Valyavka makes the fateful decision to change the team base to Rivne. Where exactly did the futsal club "Exactly" disappear. In fact, there was a kind of merger of the futsal teams Cardinal and Exactly. This is how the Cardinal Rivne Futsal Club appeared. In that 2012-2013 season, Cardinal ranked fifth in the regular season. In addition, the team reached the finals of the Cup of Ukraine, where the minimum lost to Lviv "Energy" 1: 2.
Prior to the start of the 2013/2014 season, the team participated in the Mini World Futsal Club Tournament held in Kuwait. The tournament took place in July 2013. 16 futsal clubs from 15 countries took part in international competitions. On it "Cardinal-Exactly" Vladimir Valyavka won silver medals.
Now FC Cardinal-Rivne performs in the Ukrainian Futsal Extra League Championship. He conducts his home matches in the hall of DUSSh-4: Rivne, ul. Fable, 7
