Veres People's Club is a Ukrainian football club representing the city of Rivne. Established in 1957. Member of the Ukrainian Premier League in the 1992-1993 and 1994-1995 seasons. He is a participant of the Ukrainian Premier League in the 2017-2018 season. Semi-finalist of the Cup of Ukrainein the 1993-1994 season. He played in the second league in the 2000s, lost his professional status on April 29, 2011 and subsequently ceased to exist.
In 2015, at the initiative of the new president of the Rivne Regional Football Federation, Alexei Khakhlev, the revival of the Veres football club was initiated. The club was created according to Western European models - that is, with club membership, joint financing of the club by its members. On June 18, 2015, the FFU Executive Board unanimously allowed Veres to participate in the second league. For two seasons, Heather reached the Ukrainian Premier League, but the next season, due to organizational problems, he again found himself in the second league.
The biggest win for the Red and Blacks was on September 10, 2018, beating Lviv's Carpathians in their field with a score of 1: 6.
Since 2019, the club has changed president, he became Ivan Nadein. The club was reorganized into a public limited company. In which every member of the People's Club "Heather" should become a shareholder. The Rivne City Council and the club sponsors will also be shareholders. In fact, Veres may become the first English-speaking club in Ukraine.
Home Stadium: Vanguard is under reconstruction and is scheduled to open in 2021. The team holds home matches at the Kolos stadium in Mlinov. Form colors: red and black and black and white.
